Our Vocal Ensembles

MainStage

MainStage is Carolina Voices’ largest ensemble. They perform a wide range of rep from memory including Pop, Broadway, Gospel, World and Folk music and include guest performers and theatrical elements in their productions.

Each December, MainStage takes center stage in Carolina Voices’ signature event, The Singing Christmas Tree. In the spring, the choir performs a themed musical revue.

MainStage rehearses weekly on Tuesday evenings from 7:15-9:45 PM in Shalom Hall at Myers Park Baptist Church.

Festival Singers

Festival Singers, Carolina Voices’ chamber choir, is under the direction of Donna Hill. Festival Singers repertoire ranges from classical choral and contemporary works to spirituals, folk and traditional hymns.

The ensemble often presents programs that have connections to spiritual and social topics of profound relevance and meaning to inspire, engage and build awareness of our broader community.

Festival Singers rehearses weekly on Monday evenings from 7:00-9:30 PM in Berry Hall at Myers Park Baptist Church.

Impromptu

Impromptu delights in presenting intricate and exciting a cappella arrangements of the current popular music.

Part of the Carolina Voices’ family of choruses, the small ensemble performs extensively in the community, consistently impressing audiences with its energy, artistry, and exuberance.

Impromptu rehearses weekly on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30 PM in Berry Hall at Myers Park Baptist Church.
