The Booth Playhouse of the North Carolina Blumenthal Performing Arts Center is a courtyard-style proscenium theater with cabaret and theater-in-the-round capabilities.

This intimate theater contains 434 seats with seating in orchestra and gallery levels.

It hosts a variety of dance, choral and other musical ensembles, as well as meetings, seminars, and workshops.

Ovens Auditorium

Ovens Auditorium is owned and operated by the Auditorium/ Coliseum/Convention Center Authority of the City of Charlotte. The facility seats more than 2,600 and is located at 2700 East Independence Boulevard.  Ovens Auditorium was renovated in the summer of 1997 to create more meeting areas, elevators, and restroom facilities.

McGlohon Theatre

The McGlohon Theatre at Spirit Square Center for Arts & Education seats 700 and is a showplace for local and national performances. Opened in 1980, this intimate space was the former First Baptist Church. With its stained glass windows and Byzantine dome, this historically designated space makes each event a unique experience. The McGlohon Theatre is comprised of two levels: the Orchestra (stage) Level and the Balcony Level.
