Carolina Voices' MAINSTAGE CHOIR

The MainStage Choir is Carolina Voices’ largest ensemble with 75-100 volunteer singers participating each year.  The choir performs a varied repertoire at two major concerts each year as well as at other select community events. The Singing Christmas Tree, Carolina Voices’ signature event, is performed each December at Charlotte’s Ovens Auditorium.  A holiday spectacular of music, puppetry and dance, The Singing Christmas Tree has been a family tradition for more than 50 years!

Each spring, the MainStage Choir performs a musical revue that features popular themes such as Broadway, Hollywood, and Jazz.  Some of the past shows include:  Ticket to Broadway, Jukebox! Saturday Night, Gershwin & Other Greats! and Broadway Gold.  In April, 2009, the MainStage Choir performed Club Carolina: Greatest Hits!
