Bondage to Brotherhood – A Charlotte Premiere

In
honor of the Holocaust Remembrance Day, Carolina Voices’
Festival Singers are thrilled to collaborate with the
Temple Beth El and Temple Israel to present the
Charlotte premiere of Holocaust Cantata by Donald
McCullough. Hailed by musicians and critics alike, this
profoundly moving work is based on the music and poetry
collected from concentration camp survivors. In
addition, the Festival Singers will present movements
from Leonard Bernstein’s landmark Chichester Psalms, a
beautiful and inspiring work that calls for spiritual
reconciliation and brotherhood.
